Fabergé was recently awarded the Best International Jewellery Brand Collection 2013/2014 prize at the Andrea Palladio International Jewellery Awards 2014, a prestigious acknowledgement of excellence in the luxury jewellery display industry in Vicenza, Italy.

The award was received for the Spiral, Treillage and Emotion collections, featuring the iconic Fabergé egg shape as well as the house’s signature vivid coloured gemstones.

The award ceremony was hosted by Matteo Marzotto, president of the Vicenza Fair, and the fair managing director, Corrado Facco. The Andrea Palladio Awards celebrates excellence in high-end jewellery, in the fields of creativity, design, distribution, retail and communication.

The winners were selected by a jury chaired by Maestro Gianmaria Buccellati and comprising prominent figures in the gold and jewellery industry, including Silvana Annichiarico, director of the Triennale Design Museum; Alba Cappellieri, professor of Jewellery Design at Milan Polytechnic; Franco Cologni, president of the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte and Carole Phillips, curator of the Sculpture, Metalwork, Ceramics & Glass Department at the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Other key prizes were awarded to Tiffany & Co for The Best Jewellery Communication Campaign 2013/2014; Bulgari for The Best Jewellery Flagship Store 2013/2014; Roberto Coin for The Best Italian Jewellery Brand Collection 2013/2014; and Pomellato for The Best Jewellery Communication New Media 2013/2014.
